Interior - Foam
Foam, in suitable materials, to be emloyed for safekeeping and covering your products.
Only through the inlet-decoration a case becomes to a professional tool for the daily business. Foam is made in all imagined variations. For presentation, safekeeping und covering the products we have the suitable materials. As a matter of course, the decision about the choice of the materials and the machining, decides the pricing.
Foam-qualities
Foam-qualties are made in all imagined structures. But to be used in cases, there usually are 2 different qualities inserted, they are called: flexible foam/mild foam (EF) and solid foam (PZ/LD).
Flexible foam
is a PU (Polyurethan) foam, which is very smooth. All napfoam are made of this. If there are foam-inlets needed in a high amount and low costs, this foam is used frequently. It is a cause of the process, that this foam normally is grey, it depends on the charge, so the colour can be between light- and dark grey.
Material thickness can be: 20/30/40 mm
Solid foam
is a PZ (Plastazote) foam. This fine pored foam with his nearlly black colour is perfect as inlet for presentation. The best quality is long-living, form-keeping and can be worked on in different ways: milling, jet cutting, stamping. This foam is available in different thickness and in a few different colours: black, light grey, light blue.
Material thichness is: 5/10/15/20/30/40/50/60 mm.
Different dimensions are reached by laminating the layers.
Slot-foam
this foam is a special kind of solid foam and is produced as a plate with slots included. This foam is ideal for cases with variable separating plates. Slot foam is available with a distance of 15mm between the slots. If necessary the distance, the wideness and the depth of the slots can be changed.
Technology - know-how - manufacture
Blanking
Behind this synonym you find a cutting technic, which makes holes in the foam for the inserting products. This is a possible solution for nearly round forms.
Highlights: low costs and professional.
Blanking is used with flexible/smooth foam. It gets more worthy through flocking the material.
Stamping
The holes for the inserted products are stamped after a stamp-tool has stamped it in one-way. Different levels have to be handmade. Stamping is useful for nearlly consistent holes.
Highlights: low costs and convinient.
Stamping can be used with flexible and solid foams.
Milling
The holes for the inserted products are milled in one way. Different levels, even inside the holes, are possible. For the presentation of products, this is the best solution. Highlights: presentable and professional. Only solid foam can be used for milling.
Jet cutting
The holes for the inserted products are made by a machinical guidance in one way. During this process sharp corners and edges can be considered. Different levels have to be handmade. This kind is ideal for presentation and covering high quality products. Highlights: representable and professional.
Foamforming EPP
The foam (as granulate) is filled in one complete tool and then foamed up. That's why the complete inlet can be produced in one way. Because of the excellent consistancy against acids, leachings and oils, this foam is perfect for machines and equipments, espacially if these are put in and out more often. Because of the tollcosts for this kind of foam-production, this solution can only be efficient at an order of more than 1000 pieces. Highlights: high energy consumption, wear-resistant and robust. Base material is polypropylen, realisible in different colours.
